The house was designed from the outset to be wheelchair-friendly. The entire floor area is completely flat and step-free, including the terraces and the pool surround, and there is non-step access from the road, via the side of the house, to the patio doors at the rear.

All bathrooms have grab-bars, and all three showers are flat-floored “wet-room” type, a shower-wheelchair is available on request. 

The doors are 95 cms wide, and there is plenty of space to manoeuvre – we have had many elderly and disabled guests and without exception they have found it a uniquely comfortable and convenient place to stay.

The pool too is accessible, it has wide “Roman” steps leading into the shallow end, and is easy to access – some wheelchair users have commented that it’s the first time they’ve been able to get into a pool for years!
